I guess this doesn't look like much, but that's actually sort of the goal. Since taking this photo I ditched the Sirius tuner (put a new one in the kitchen instead) and added a PS3 on the middle left shelf.

What's that stand that you're using and where did you get it from? I'm looking for a similar stand but in black.

I thought I'd add pics of my setup, seeing as others are. I must say, I'm veeeeery impressed with everyone's! You all know your stuff when it comes to home cinema! I on the other hand am still living at home (I am only 22 after all!) so my set up is in my room. Here you go:

What do you think? It's a very good view from my bed. Thought I'd include a pic of my small, concentrated collection of DVDs and Blu-rays. In case you're wondering, it's Bottom on the tele!

It's the Salamander Synergy system. You can design with any of several options that impact the size, materials, color, etc. http://www.salamanderdesigns.com/syn/index.jsp

Pricy, but in my case I expect to have it for a very long time.

It's funny, I first saw this in a Pioneer Elite ad and then scoured the earth to find it. The odd part was once I found the company, I was shock to learn they were located a couple of blocks from me in Hartford, CT. They've since moved to Bloomfield, CT. Of course they'll ship to anywhere.

Just ordered a pair of Martin Logan floor speakers to finally replace those Baby Advents. I sure got my money's worth out of those.

Here is my setup:

Sony 50" LCD Model KDF-E50A10
Sony Playstation 3 via HDMI

Watching Terminator 2 at time pictures were taken. Bachelor pad aka Fortress of Solitude... Recently divorced so now I got all the toys I wanted. Irregular size living room in my apartment. Long and narrow. Enjoy the pics. Yes, the Ecornes couch and recliner sit well. If you have the means, I suggest picking one up (In the immortal words of Ferris Bueller...)

Thanks! I like my setup. Don't have full surround system. Just use the tv speakers but with the TrueSurroundXT and BBE set to high it sounds great...

Yeah, need to get some pictures on the wall and a few more chairs in the living room. Gonna get another tv stand that will hold my PS3 and my blu-ray movies. It's a buffet that I'm going to refinish. It has 3 drawers on the left side where I will place my blu-rays and then a cabinet on the right side where I'm gonna stand the PS3 up vertically. I will have to drill holes in the back to run the cables through. Will be pretty sweet when I get it setup...

Indeed I did! £1,394.90 for the Toshiba 42WLT66 11 months ago, PS3 £500 6 months ago (imported US version)... overall, quite a sum of money lol! But well worth it! Just wish the tele was 1080p (it does 1080i) with 24p... I only found out about the bonus of these like a few months ago! My next TV in 5-7 years time will definitely have these functions... if not others that have been invented by that time!
