850KB/sec, most have been lucky to get over 100KB/sec consistently. Maybe it's working better now.

Generally, people who are successful and continue to be, are never completely satisfied with their work-this drives them towards bigger and better things. Regardless of the quality of the ps3, its not the be-all-end-all of video game consoles, and it constrains his vision. Why is that a bad thing, outside of fanboy wars?

This is a good trait to have in a creator, so long as they aren't allowed to enter into a Derek Smart universe of futility.

The only people that will make a big deal out of this are

1. Fanboys of other systems
2. Those that don't realise it looks great as it is
3. Those that don't realise you make some detail sacrifices for a 60fps game

MGS3 proves they don't limit themselves to 60fps games so I'm not sure why Kojima would say such a thing unless as I said, something was lost in translation.

It's hardly as if anyone's coming close to maximising Cell efficiency at this early point, I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Ones imagination, with unlimited hardware can really have you create things you never thought of.

Kojima said he wasn't satisfied with the game detail. He didn't say anything about the game story and that's what we want, a good story.

And besides we've all the seen the trailers......I think it looks good enough, right?

I have been trying all day to get a username from the id.konami.net website, i started using internet explorer, i have since downloaded safari, and i still cannot get past the password screens, it just drasticly slows down, and then says page has been deleted etc.
I'm not kidding, i've been trying on and off for 6 hrs, please has anyone got any hints.......
Also do i need to register before i can play beta, and is there any other ways?

im going to try the safari way... this would be the only time i would ever use anything mac to get what i want lol. (sorry mac guys, i'm simply not a fan.)
