I think a lot of us were surprised that we needed a new ID... I didn't know until the rep at gamestop told me when I got my DVD.

DONE IT! I'm finally signed up, after 32 hours of on and off trying the website. I used the firefox remember all fields thingy! But i've just received my mail from konami, and i'm ready, apparanty, now my PS3 is on 3% of the update, so i'll probably have the PS3 on all night!

But my name is falling_piano.-, so if anyone wants to add my PS3 id, i'll be glad to have some uk or us blu-ray fans on 'the list'. And hopefully see you on the beta test!

Big thanks to the guy who posted the firefox instructions, i never got further than the terms with IE, so i've also got much better web browser - Firefox.

Finally got my ID as well. Use the Autoformer extension, good find!

However, it took me a while because I didn't read that the Game ID password was only numbers, so I went through that several times... then apparently I saved the form with the values entered which did not match.

This is the most ignorant and senseless process I've ever seen. It only gets more ridiculous because the site has been hammered so badly that it's nigh impossible to register.

Why not just use PSN id? (rhetorical question, I know this has been discussed at length)

Thank you! I hate game critics and reviews on gamespot and ign. I never see a good corelation between reviews and many genuinely good games. It's always 9.5/10 for games everyone likes, and 5/10 for good games that won't sell. Sometimes even awesome reviews on games that blow hard.

MGO has a couple of training modes:

Solo Training
Engage in free training using dolls and targets

Novice Training
First-time players should start here.
You will learn the basics needed to play the game.

Cool.

Automatching/matchmaking AND the ability to create/join a specific match you want.

Drebin Points Enabled
When enabled, players can spend Drebin Points during the game to use and customize weapons that would not normally be available.

Skills and Skill Growth

sucks for me. that update is slow as molasses. ill just wait till either monday or Tuesday to play , after all the idiots are off the update server.
