So my take on the Jurrasic World 4K disc is that it is WAY better than the BD, i would put the best looking scenes in the same line as Transformers the last knight and almost The Revenant, its amazing. But, a few shots looks like they have DNR, a few shots is veeeery soft, i usuly like grain but there is a few scenes where the grain is a little bit annoying imo, the colours are better than the blu, but not as good as one would expect from a new film with HDR, the colour a bit more muted than i would like it to be, but only a bit. The resolution and detail is superb, especially the second half, BUT it really exposes the CGI at times, makes a couple of the dinosaurs look real fake at times, but all those negatives are just a few scenes. Im no reviewer obviosly, but i would rate this disc 8/10 for detail and resolution

So you're saying they haven't run out of Oblivion filters yet

Would have posted some screenshots of the first one but the discs are too new, and not yet supported in the usual software.

Anyone peek at their JP3 UHD yet? I'm hoping the HDR really jumps out on this one.

I’m rolling the dice on that steelbook Best Buy has. I’m hoping the discs are in an overlapping pattern and not stacked... and if they ARE stacked, I hope the 4K discs will be on the bottom... although I doubt it if that’s the route they have taken.

Can you please count the inner rings of your disc? It suppose to be BD-66 (2 rings) but you never know. Phantom Thread is another recent example, where it is BD-100.

Considering all of the bonus features are included on the UHD disc and they're 1.85-1 and fairly long (except JPIII) I very much hope they're BD-100's.

I only watch the 3D version included in the Jurassic Park Collection from a couple years back, which, if I'm not mistaken, is a whole different beast in terms of color timing, even including new digital f/x like foreground rain and debris and leaves to push the 3D effect. Looks great, and the new sound mix was a lot of fun.
