I've heard that the voice in that video isn't Bill Skarsgård's voice but a dub actor. Just what I've heard.

So, it's like this thing that like, has words in it! I was like, 'people actually read these words' and my friend was like, Yeah, I know, right? LMAO, people like, used to read books instead of stare at Facebook, Instragram and take selfies every minute of the day to fish for complements? Wow! What type of lame world is that! I would much rather be like tweeting Kim and telling the world what I am doing every minute of the day than expanding my mind with like, literature!

I tend to view Stephen King's career in two stages... The pre-IT phase and the post-IT phase.

King's works changed noticeably after IT, and the stories were more focused on the dark side of humans, as opposed to the fear of the unknown. King continued to write stories about the supernatural, of course, but the "devil may care" vibe and the wonderful "Weird Tales" mystique that graced his earlier short stories and novels disappeared.

...probably because Stephen King has been sober and drug-free during his post-IT career.

I don't think that King's alcoholism and drug addictions during the late 1970s and early 1980s benefited his creativity in a direct way, but I do think that there was a recklessness inherent in his work that disappeared later on.

I love that they've got Pennywise singing on TV with a choir of dead kids. Very in keeping with the sort of shit he'd pull in the novel.

Is that Patrick Hockstetter in the front row?

This movie will be excellent!

Not sure why the video was unlisted. You'd think they'd want as many people to see it as possible. Unless they're waiting to release the 30 second TV spots closer to the release date.

I'm hoping Pennywise doesn't talk TOO much during the movie. The more "It" talks, the less creepy "It" will be. This philosophy applies to any horror movie villain.

What movies have people gone to see in theaters where the "It" trailer was attached to? I'll be seeing Baby Driver tomorrow. I was wondering if there was a chance I'll see one of the "It" trailers when I see it. I haven't seen an "It" trailer in theaters yet.

No it doesn't. Not necessarily. Pennywise has quite a lot to say in the book, and if anything it makes him more creepy.

As I was reading the book every time Pennywise would speak, I actually would find him more scary.

No one was more loquacious than Hannibal Lecter and that didn't impede his creep factor in the slightest. All depends on the film and the villain.

Michael Myers is scary because he never talks. If he was talking in every scene, he would become a joke. That's what I'm worried about happening to Pennywise. The more a horror movie villain talks, the more you learn about them, which makes them less scary to me. Let them stay mysterious.

Well I mean some aspects of him do remain mysterious, but we learn a whole lot about Pennywise in the book..
