House IV is my favorite. Excluding one brief scene at a toxic waste dump which randomly goes overboard in what feels like a mix between Twin Peaks and a cartoon, I think it's a total blast. The first three aren't must-owns for me, but I do like them well enough that I don't mind buying the full set to get the one I really want. I never had any of the UK DVDs, but I heard the one for IV was cut. Not sure if true.

You thought House IV was terrible but love Hellgate? . I own a copy but, man, does that movie suck.

Just trying to lighten the load a bit with some well written comedies, dramas and actioners. Starting to really appreciate early Michael Bay films. The coverage he gets for the editor, wow. But yeah, Czechoslovakian art films about goat farmers..that is definitely my bag!

As for Hellgate..I know it was awful, but there is something about the atmosphere and time period it was made that reminds me of my rare contacts with laserdiscs and the age I was. The early 90's period for direct to video horror had a few zingers in there. I'll have to revisit House IV again to determine how bad/good it really is. It's been about 20 yrs.

Bought the UK box. Not a fan of The Horror Show and think House IV is total crap but the 156 page book and total package (for under $60 shipped with the points I had) looks fantastic.

Why? If you're going to take a shot at them, might as well explain yourself.

Don't want to drag this out too long but I've had too many issues with the PQ of their releases, the mono sound of Bride of Re-Animator was the final straw.

Last Arrow release I bought was the Deep Red remaster but only after reading reviews. I will continue to support them, I just need extra confirmation concerning the quality of the movie itself before I make a purchase.

Arrow announcements often take a week or two to show up on Amazon. No real worry of it selling out this far away.

I think that I've only seen the 4th one... I think I remember ordering it off PPV back in the very early 90's. Maybe 1992 or 1993...

The trailer for the original has Friday the 13th like music.

I see it's listed at $39.99. Is this what it will sell for on release day or will Amz have it cheaper?

FWIW, SRP is $59.95 on this set, so that's about $20 savings without having to really worry. Plus getting it potentially early and without any hassle like folks have gotten with past Arrow titles on Amazon. And it'll come in great shape.

Does Arrow charge on order, or shipment for pre-orders?

Paypal is charged when the order is placed, otherwise you'll pay when it ships.
