Appreciation given tron3
That's what happened with the early DVD forums when 500,000 newby's joined and asked 10,000 times a day - "When is *** coming?" sigh..
Till it was not humanly possible to keep up.

..BUT, there's hope - we have awesome mods and this site is under intelligent control. There is some cool news yet to hear.

I took forever to join this site. Everyone that has been fighting the good fight from the beginning has my respect. I hope that everyone will continue to help spread blu as a media format

I watched this site for a long time before finally joining too!!

Usually I found 1 forum on one site and stick with it and this site has been that place. It's been the first and last site and MANY times inbetween every day that I visit. But I really think the purpose has been served now and many of us will need a new outlet now.

Respect to Tron3, father of the Blu-Bloods! And respect to all who are Inside and even those who are just plain bad@$$ & knowledgeable. You have all made this antisocialite feel like a part of something worthwhile.

:::Begins rambling speech... ignore if you like!:::

I'm another who lurked here for about a year before I had enough dough to plunk down & get involved. Then it took me another couple of months to actually join & want to start posting. This is the first (and prettey much only) forum I post on. (Okay, so I chimed in once on one or two other forums including imdb. But this place is where I feel at home!) I was on the accelerated track for early graduation.

I was (and still am) Blu-Blooded, however around the time of Paramount's betrayal I decided that I knew the outcome & almost completely stopped posting about the "War" here and kept my Blu-Bloodery to ignorance in the real world. I like to see people save their money instead of wasting it on inferior products or listening to people that really don't understand what they are saying.

I'd expect nothing less from others who knew I would be making a mistake I may regret.

I will still visit the insiders threads & check back for news, but posting is something I've slowly been shying away from and I have some big moves in my own career to focus on now.

See ya when I see ya!

There, there, Jon.... Buck up. There's always digital downloads. We all know their FUD will be as immaterial as them holding their movies in their hands. Oh, that's right. You can't HOLD a digital download.

Thanks for the respect guys. Thanks to all the blu-blood members, past, present & future.

Now is when things are really getting exciting. Blu-ray has support from all of the studios, still feels like a dream . This is a great time for
Blu supporters: looking foward to the new titles that are going to be announced, the new players that are going to be released in the market, and the continued promotion of Blu-ray as the high def fromat of the present and future.
