I remember the IMDB message boards spoiling Scream 4 like 1-2 months before it was released. That test screening was a mess.

But it didn't ruin my theatrical experience. TBH I kinda forgot about reading that

I really hope this will be good. I actually enjoy all the Scream movies. Sure, 3 is a mess but it still has a lot to enjoy in it.

I was really against a 5th one when Wes died. It just feels weird that someone new will direct a Scream movie. If it ends up being bad and not re-watchable, that'd be awful.
They had a good run so far.

I saw SCREAM in January 1997, one month after it came out. I was in college, and it was one of the best times I ever had in a theater. No spoilers. I hadn't seen the trailer. I just read one or two reviews. I really had no idea what to expect. Two hours later, the audience came out stunned, shaken and laughing. I've owned the film on VHS (the director's cut--yay!), DVD and Blu-ray, but nothing compares to seeing it on the big screen with an appreciative audience. I'm really looking forward to SCREAM 5 (I've seen all the sequels on opening day), and hope it's the best one since the original.
