These aren't my pics but got them off Ebay...Jeff Proctor done the Dawn of the Dead (original) for the event. George Romero (who was brought in by helicopter) was in attendence and the event was held in the Highland Mall down in Austin Texas where they was picked up at a local church and were transported by bus to the mall. Everyone from what i heard was dressed as zombies, pretty cool way to spend Halloween huh?

Dawn of the Dead Original Poster with Yellow sky edition of 750

Hope this helps...

The exact one you mentioned is officially known as the International Advance Style "A". The International and U.S. advance featured the same artwork, as you noticed, but the International says has the extra wording on it and the date "2011" at the bottom, whereas the U.S. (aka domestic) style features the exact release date at the bottom. I can't help you with the International style, I only carry the U.S. domestic version, so in your search, make sure you ask any seller you see that may have it that you want the International version and make sure a seller checks it and that is only states the year at the bottom.

Thanks for the props earlier Roar. Yes, I would suggest contacting MoviePoster.com and asking if they perhaps send a photo of the poster to you so you can see the actual damage to it before ordering.

Thanks again and I am glad you were pleased with the packaging in your private message, I always tend to package a poster up so it survives the journey because tubes (and packages in general) aren't handled with care so I anticipate someone along the lines using it as a baseball bat or light saber or even playing Zeus and using it as a lightning bolt tossing it out of a plane! so I always try to double-box all orders.

Here is the original

[Show spoiler]
Its technically not a reprint, its just not part of the limited edition screen prints that were made. The studio decided to print out a poster version to hand out at the premiere as you mentioned but I believe it was just on poster paper stock and not thicker paper used on the screen prints. Yes, you are correct, it wasn't a bootleg, it was sanctioned by the studio themselves, and also some of the artwork was used as a cover to a Captain America issue before the print was announced, so that comic book issue kind of acted as a "teaser" per say. Yes the original can be costly, but its really quite nice in person. Now is the time to grab one if people are wanting one, because they will only continue to rise in value.

Yep, those Stout prints just keep going up and up...

I have both the regular and variant of the Iron Man 2 poster he did and I'll probably sell the variant once the prices go up a bit.

The Iron Man 2 ones are nice, I have those as well and the metal variant. Are yours the numbered ones or the signed/numbered ones? It seems the signed ones tend to go up quicker but in some cases, people don't care.

Yeah, they're signed & numbered. Wish I could have got that metal variant, but damn...

Its always best to have the signed ones, which are technically rarer since less than half the print run is signed while the entire print run is numbered. Yes, the metal one is quite nice in-person, sadly though its in my closet. I would say that of the 65 made, less than 50 were actually sold/made available to the public.

It has been my experience that Stout and quite possibly others would be more than happy to sign your un-signed version if you want to ship it to them and pay for shipping back. If I were in the market for one I would seek out the unsigned one to 'save' some cash and then ship it to the artist for signing.

That used to be the case, but Stout doesn't offer that service anymore. Actually it makes sense and here is why. When a person sends something to be signed by an artist, there is a risk that the print can be damaged in the mail, and then if the artist accidentally damages it, they would feel awful about it. Then they have to package it up and send it back, and again if they don't package it up properly, it could get damaged. Basically while its in the possession of the artist, its technically their responsibility and my guess is they don't want to take that on. I know, if I was an artist, I would feel uneasy about it too, mainly because of the risks involved of it getting damaged and how limited they are in nature.

The Shining Poster done by We Buy Your Kids

I made my way down to Austin for this. Man, what a fun event it was!!! We all missed out on Romero arriving via helicopter, we were all too busy running to get into the mall while the zombies attacked us and dodging the fire from the military =) . I got both the regular and Variant and man the detail on these things is beautiful.

Anybody in Canada ever redeem HMV Pure Points for any of their plaquemount posters? Ever since I got the autographed Disturbed guitar and autographed Royce Gracie Blu-Ray I have been looking for something to use points on since they rarely add stuff anymore. So been trying to decide between some plaquemount posts, HMV gift cards (Which are a rip-off really) or holding out and hope they start adding more stuff again. So if anybody has ever redeemed for them are they worth it and pics? They seem to just google image search their pictures instead of posting pictures of the actual product so hard to know what to expect.

For those that missed out, the eBay prices are not that high on today's offerings so you may want to check there for them if you are a collector of the Disney prints from Mondo.

Just missed out on The Mad Doctor print, really liked that one, but I'll wait for prices to drop more as I know they will.

Didn't like the Pinocchio one at all.
