Just got this version its nice but its weierd. The computer says u can do in store pickup for it but when you look in store they have none and u have to see a customer service specialist for help

The only one in store was the one I ordered on thurs

now on the best buy site it says "Hunger Games (Best Buy Exclusive) has a quantity limit of 1 per order" not sure how long its been like that on the website for in store pickup

Really annoyed. Website says it's available in my area. My father (who lives in the USA) went all the way there for me to pick one up so he can send it to me, only to find it is out of stock, and sold out within the first hour on Saturday.

So why the hell does their site say his local store has it in stock since then?
Really annoyed as now he has to order it online for me.

Mine works fine too...I think! Seems there is some purposely missing audio there....kind of a zone out sound after the kids come up out of the ground to start the contest

best buy version is now sold out online as well as in most stores. I would think if anyone wants this version and sees it now is the time to snatch it up before scalpers take effect

wierd how it's sold out online but yet people are saying their BBY are stock piled full of them I'll find out how mine looks cuz gotta go see if they can hold mine till Friday cuz got an email saying they will only hold it till tomorrow

the ones i went to had no copies at all, cept for my in store pickup.
and yes they were stockpiled full on sat when it came out but now people are buying this version it seems

someone actually is bidding on one on ebay for 34.99, factory sealed and 4 days left. so the want for this set is out there

Maybe Best Buy sent all their inventory to the stores. Someone in another thread mentioned that stores were getting a "rush shipment".

Most stores are in fact sold out of these. Originally when people were reporting a stock surplus it was on Saturday.

I think the box feels pretty durable. The only thing is, it is just that, a big box with a flimsy book style for your Blu-Rays so there is a lot of space in the box. Some people have said you'll be able to fit the other movies that come out inside the box though. Just have to wait and see.

I held it in my hands at a store, and it's obvious that the cardboard is really thin. It's not thick cardboard like Warner's DigiBooks or the Twilight DigiPaks that Borders and Target offered.

They're pretty sturdy, closer to the feel of a digibook. The magnetic snap really keeps it closed well too.

I was watching the film and realized my hand kept flicking it into place. It has a nice snap to it. lol

It is a very well built box. The cardboard is a nice thick stock and will hold up very well over time.

Would you please stop posting about this edition. You do not own it in any way shape or form. Therefore your comments hold no validity in this discussion. Quit trying to scare people away from this set because you think it has so many problems.
