This is way too early for a pre-order! I could be dead by then, or living off £30 a week. If I ordered now, lost everything and forgot to cancel my pre-order I could be in real trouble when they take the money out of my account.

I don't remember the others coming up this early. Perhaps they will release it by Christmas? Hope so...

I'd hope this gets released this year. It should be out the week after the series finishes on Sky! That's how the BBC do it...

I always thought it was mad of them to not have it released in time for Christmas, maybe they're doing it this time?

and they could then release the limited edition boxset the month before the new season starts, but i just can't see them doing that. hope i'm wrong

Preordered the season 1-3 boxset with tesco. As I'm a new customers used TDX-7DXM code to get £10 off so cane to just £45. So worked out just an extra £11 for both season 1 & 2 on blu ray.

Have the previous bonus discs been region free?

I have season 3 pre-ordered but previously bought the season 1-2 combo which didn't have any bonus discs included.

I kind of wish I held off buying them, I have a feeling when the series comes to end there's going to be one mighty find looking complete collection if the quality of the releases so far is anything to go by.

Yer I imagine so. I've been tempted to get the bonus discs from amazon and the HBO site bonus discs. But I just can't justify the extra wedge. S1 is the only Amaray version so far but that was in a ridiculously overprice limited edition for which I have no need.

Looking at the size of the 1-3 pack next to the single season, it looks about the same size as HBO's 1-3 set of Boardwalk Empire, which came as three amarays inside a slipbox, so I think there's a good chance.

didn't realise BE came with amarays, I assumed they were digipacks given its HBO. Didn't the single releases of those come in amarays though?

Yup my season 1 and season 2 sets of Boardwalk are amaray cases. Ain't got season 3 yet.
