More Elsa & action! I really hope Elsa ( the female Sub-Zero) is in the movie more than her sister and she uses her powers alot more often. Anna, Keistoff, reindeer Seven, & snowman Olaf are boring. I hope she battle a fire monster or something.

I know that it is a popular misconception. Hence the humour of Olaf (a witless snowman) going to Iceland (which he thinks is all ice/snow) and having misadventures.

I was going with a satirical approach based on the Cars 2 & Finding Dory factor.

I am of the mind to see Elsa meet someone special.

The twist? They are a user of fire magic.

Together, they balance things out.

I've watched the first one way too many times. I'm not normally into animation, but this one got me. Really looking forward to this one.

The first time I watched Frozen I didn't care for it. Thought it was overrated and Let It Go was the only decent song. The second time I liked it more especially since they didn't have a typical "and they lived happily ever after" with a girl and a guy kissing at the end. I've grown to hate those endings.

A lot of story left to tell here. Will be interesting to see where they go with it.

I felt they both got equal story/screen time - shared stars.

I did like it the first time - enough that Im down with another one if its good. Hopefully. I did love that early song with the line "Do you want to build a snowman?" Thought that was great.

Screentime yes, but somehow Elsa has become the main focus in most people's eyes, largely due to that damn song.

Oh, it's a fine song, just one that has suffered from overexposure, and I still think several others from the movie are better.

I agree she's the more popular but I still both as the stars of the film - its equally about both.
Elsa owning her power and learning real love, with Anna getting her sister back, freedom and also learning about real love

'Hidden Figures' Writer Allison Schroeder Joins 'Frozen 2' (Exclusive)
AUGUST 23, 2018 3:08pm PT by Mia Galuppo

Schroeder will assist Jennifer Lee with scripting duties after Lee was named head of Walt Disney Animation.

Allison Schroeder, the screenwriter behind 2017's Hidden Figures, is coming into the cold for Frozen 2.

While Jennifer Lee remains the primary writer, Schroeder, who worked with Disney on its recent release Christopher Robin, will assist with scripting duties on the Frozen sequel, given Lee's newfound responsibility at the animation studio.

In June, Lee was named head of Walt Disney Animation Studios, succeeding John Lasseter, who was forced to step down from his role as chief creative officer of both WDAS and Pixar Animation Studios after admitting to unspecified "missteps" in the workplace. Inside Out director Pete Docter took over the reins at Pixar.

Frozen 2 will see the return of stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad, who voiced Anna, Elsa and Olaf the Snowman, respectively, in the 2013 original that grossed over $1 billion at the global box office and became a cultural phenomenon. It was recently reported that Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown were in talks to join the follow-up's cast.

The movie is currently in production, with Lee directing with Chris Buck. Peter Del Vecho is producing. While the plot is not yet known, Frozen 2 is set for a Nov. 27, 2019, release.

Hidden Figures, which starred Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae and Taraji P. Henson as the women of NASA integral to the early years of the space program, earned Schroeder an Oscar nomination for best adapted screenplay. She is repped by Verve, Good Fear and Ginsburg Daniels.

Casting isnt in real time. Gal Gadot's casting news for Wreck it Ralph was announced like a week ago and that comes out in 3 months.

Same thing with Nic Cage for Teen Titans and Spiderman.
