my latest order comes with XPO tracking number. Found it in my order history. I've looked it up and it says its going to Delaware. I'm in the UK. What's going on? Is it not coming through Royal Mail this time? Anyone else had this happen?

Took the plunge and ordered 'Sicario' UHD BD with them - listed as 'In Stock'

How long do they usually take to dispatch orders?

I put in my first order with them last Monday and since I received the dispatch e-mail tracking info just says:-

DHL -
Tracking information may not be available for 24/48 hours

Been sent to UK with standard shipping

Is this what usually happens?

Yes that's correct.
The UHD discs I've ordered usually take about 7 or 8 days to arrive.
They send you an email when they dispatch your order.

Never had any tracking info either, but always get the things I order. Normally takes 3-4 weeks from US to Europe.

Which is absolutely ridiculous. How do they manage to make it take so long?

I pre-ordered the three Jaws sequels and the Airport box set for June release a couple of weeks ago, but got an email this morning saying they'd cancelled my order as the items were out of stock.

They probably ship it across the Atlantic in a canoe. But then again, shipping is free so I can't really complain...

DVD Pacific, Deep Discount DVD and DVD Planet all ship from the exact same place. They all take just as long to arrive. It has nothing to do with the free shipping.

It's not really free shipping. If you look up the same film on their sister site ImportCDs, you'll notice it's cheaper. The price is marked up on WowHD to include the shipping cost.

Funny because the last few times I have checked the title I have wanted has been cheaper on WowHD because of the free shipping.

Just an example of a recent release:

http://www.importcds.com/dillinger/760137833598

http://www.wowhd.co.uk/dillinger/760137833598

ImportCDs: £16.83

WowHD: £20.36

I think you missed my point. Generally WowHD is cheaper, but as you can see from above, they do increase their prices to cover postage costs.

Not always. Quite often, the prices on Wow HD are lower than DVD Pacific. Sometimes it matches the shipping differences, and at other times it's even lower. I always check both, now.

As mentioned, there are other examples where the prices are almost exactly the same, but Wow HD just doesn't charge the shipping. Many Sentai titles seem to fall into this category. A recent example is Tonari No Seki-kun.

My order that was placed last Monday just arrived (via Royal Mail - no duties) - 8 working days (inc day I ordered) not bad going and will certainly use again.
