That sounds iffy. I just add them to my Wish List. Plus, once the sale starts, some will likely be out of stock, price adjustments, etc. I find it easier to monitor from a wish list and then add to cart.

I keep mine in the Saved for Later section, so not in my actual cart. Makes it easy to scroll through them and add them to my cart when I make purchases during the sale.

NO. They don't "adjust price" until you are ready to checkout. They all show at whatever price they are before they figure what the price of your "free" one is. The only thing that changed in your cart in the past was it showed which things in my cart were part of a promo.

Does anyone know if preorders from Target usually come with slipcovers or is it a gamble?

Every (slipcovered release) preorder I've ever ordered and received had a slipcover.

You are taking your chances when it comes to condition though. I've gotten pristine or minor bump but nice shape, and I've gotten some creasing or worst crumpled. Creased/crumpled came from the fact that it was a preorder, so shipped by itself (not with other items, where it generally has a better chance of no damage). Shipped by itself, the set got sealed into cardboard mailer (better, but can get some damage during the shipping trip) or shoved/jammed a tight bubble mailer (worse, but less damage during the shipping trip).

I'm don't have high hopes -- out of all my many Target online orders, only the LotR and Hobbit UHDs arrived undamaged because they came in a box. The Indiana Jones standard set looks flimsy, so if it's another casualty of their poor packaging, I'll just return it and wait for BF and get it elsewhere. I just watched the BD a few months ago -- and that set has awesome packaging -- so I can wait a little longer.

I finally got my copy of Indiana Jones 4K from the last B2G1 -- it came between those glued sheets of cardboard (which is ridiculous for such an expensive set), but miraculously, it didn't have a single dent or crease!!

I hate that, and it's one reason why I also hate ordering from Target (or BBY). 50/50 your boxed set or slipcover will come damaged.

I trust Amazon's white, non-bubble envelopes over that.

Mine came on Saturday in a bubble wrapped envelope, also luckily it arrived damage free
