I think Riddhi will be happy to know that this may have alternating aspect ratios as some of those clips shown were flat while others were in scope. At least that's what it looked like to me.

They could just run this in the theater and I’d be happy. I love what I’m seeing. That small glimpse of them underwater in the gyrosphere... mososaur!!!

We were not supposed to, and will not be able to, co-exist with them. What movies have you guys been watching?

This is not some radical idea. Malcolm says it. Grant says it. Ellie says it. It was what Crichton was getting at when he wrote the story: By playing god with forces more powerful than your own, you bring about your own demise.

I'm doing the books and the films the courtesy of taking their ideas somewhat seriously here. The monsters in the JP series are both literal and metaphorical and in both cases they are here to destroy us. They can't be contained on an island and they can't be let lose in the world. They never should have been brought back in the first place.

Again, without being hyperbolic, I think it's weird I even have to say that.
The first film was kind of getting at this, yes, but The Lost World added another dimension to it. There, it turns out the dinosaurs survived (the implication at the end of JP was they would die - go back to being extinct), and its' message is more along the lines of, now that we've brought them into the world and they've proven themselves capable of surviving in it, we should leave them be. It literally ends with Hammond's "And if we could just step aside, and trust in nature, life will find a way" speech while we see the dinosaurs frolicking on Isla Sorna, which has been turned into a natural preserve.

It makes sense for Fallen Kingdom to continue on this track. Dinosaurs and humans able to coexist peacefully, as long as we let them have their land (the islands) and stay on ours. Personally I also think that's a more positive, healthy message to get across to audiences in these days where we're destroying the environment and wiping out species at an increasingly faster pace, too.

They basically made a Jurassic Park movie into a PETA movie. I know it’s just a movie but INGEN ownes these dinosaurs they should have just sent a team in killed them after the first World movie cause it’s been proven they can’t run a theme park where the product eats your customers.

Nobody else is going to be...eaten?

I love how Claire told tech guy his shirt was in bad taste and she had such a nonchalant attitude about the dinosaurs until her nephews were in danger. I hope this is a non-park scenario also, parks have been tried and failed twice with casualties both times.

I know, it's an action film fan's paradise right now with all these Marvel, DCU, Star Wars and dinosaur films coming out. In 10-15 years, we really will look back on these days as the golden age of action cinema.

Holy shit was that incredible. The cinematography is gorgeous, looking better than World. Still gushing over the museum scene. This is going to be huge!

I suppose whatever they come up with, people on the Internet will claim they don’t want....till they go and see it anyway.

I’m in for volcanoes and more of a disaster movie scenario.

Nobody wants or are going to get a PETA story, they are a hugely fraudulent organisation, btw.

One thing's for sure, Chris Pratt will be the one dominating summer. Dude has Fallen Kingdom AND Infinity War being released that year.

From what I have seen so far this is looking like it will be sitting directly behind the original on my jpfavoritometer. It looks incredible. Bayona has proved a number of times he can deftly handle a mix of spectacle, drama and emotion in the same movie. Can't wait.

Can someone please explain to me why there weren't a lot of animatronic dinosaurs used in the previous movie?
