Perfect... I assume 5-10 hours of that and I might be ready to play a real match.

I only did the learning stuff, not the practice. I felt pretty comfortable with it quickly.

I went straight to Team Deathmatch. Didn't know what I was doing lol but I killed 3-4 people.

The man-canon works better than I was expecting, leaves you open for a long time but so far people have been pretty smart about the times they choose to use it.

OK, i got to say, so far, i can see a few areas that can be improved, like the massive & unecessary blurring you get while shooting in first person with the trigger fully squeezed on a full auto weapon

Second is the voice chat from microphones, i can't hear or properly talk to people from what i have played & tried to do so far

Apart from that, it's been ok.

Stealth doesn't seem very prevalent tbh but maybe bigger maps will sort that problem out or other maps

I'm surprised people are saying that. On Rats Nest people are always hiding behind the large amounts of cover, popping off heads and I've creeped up on a few unaware people.

Groznyj Grad's a bit more open and people tend to wander off and do their own thing more. Haven't seen as much sneakiness there but there's plenty of opportunity for it. The quick spinning camera prevents too much getting shot in the back, you get a good chance to return fire if you keep on your toes.

I need to get better at siderolling out of fire. I'm impatient and would rather do as much damage to the other guy before dying than potentially getting the better position, killing them and staying alive.

I personally think the graphics look slightly better or very similar, tbh, i think kojima really wanted to push a crysis type graphic threshold & that just really is something the PS3 cannot graphically cope with cause the RSX isn't exactly a 9800GTX or 8800GTX lol

I don't think the graphics translate to MGS4. MGS4 doesn't need nearly the extra overhead since it's not multiplayer, and thus will have much better visuals.

Graphically the game is OK. Not stunning, not horrible, but a bit too heavy on earth tones for my taste (all your accessories and clothing are limited to earth tones too).

Gameplay is OK too. Aiming needs a little work (especially the laughable auto-aim), and controls aren't as fluid as one might hope for, but it's serviceable. I'm not fond of the cover system, as you can't actually shoot effectively while taking cover as far as I could tell in about an hour of team deathmatch.

We want to recreate the game of our dreams, but reality tells us that all expectations can not be filled. The limitations of the technology we return to this. I'm glad a lot like it, but i suppose since it's in beta, a couple of main complains like the auto aim will be dealt with & maybe the FP aiming blur when shooting

I think though the earthy colour your only allowed to choose from may change when the full release hits as part of MGS4 & as a stand alone
