You are probably right. I'm sure that laser etching process isn't cheap. It will be interesting to find out the price and the number they are selling.

Nice, glad you could take advantage. Looks like some of these are going for $20-$50 or more at some of the movie poster sites.

I've been spending too much on prints recently. Oh well, I'll just call them Christmas gifts to myself.

Managed to get Fortress of Solitude (I think I'm for 3 for 4 on Mondo drops when I'm at home)

Also, they're not movie prints, but I got Neve by Malleus, and Nunavut by Horkey/Ryan. Can't wait to see those in person.

Gonna grab Double Ghost by Olly Moss later today as well.

That wood True Grit looks amazing. I wonder how much it will be.

Thanks! ...took me a little while to figure out the best way to display them in front of the posters. It ended up involving a suction cup hook and, of all things, a rolling shade bracket.

LOVE that Rita Hayworth print - though the checkerboard's kinda distracting. Now we need to get Gilda and Only Angels Have Wings on blu.

Just a heads up for those of you with lots of prints to store, Jerry's Artarama is having a super sale on the 24x36 Picturesque Presentation Case. It's at $88.88 which is easily the cheapest I've seen, so I finally bought one. From everything I've read about it, it seems to be a great storage solution, and one that allows you to look at your unframed prints more often.

They just announced the True Grit wood thing is going to be $450 and there are 33 of them being sold. There is a nice video showing how they made them. Really cool stuff.

Yeah that video is awesome showing how they made it and i'm surprised they even have 33 available. I would go for this but i see a new Banksy print was just announced so my funds will have to be saved for that day.

Forgot to mention coupon code CYBER11 will give you 20% off the sleeve refills, but won't work on the portfolio itself.

I'm a huge Batman fan, so I can't wait to see everything they do. I just hope I have money and am on time when things drop. I just really checked out Mondo recently, so it's perfect timing that they'd announce a DC deal. I need to start paying better attention.

Looks like next weeks Mondo poster has been leaked by MTV of all places and it's by Florian Bertmer for Cowboys & Aliens. This drops Tuesday Dec. 6th in time for the blu-ray release. http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/12/01...u-ray-release/

I kind of have an off topic question. I have a few posters that I had framed. When I first got them framed they were awesome. Here lately I noticed that they seem to be wrinkling up in the frame. I cant figure out why. I will admit that the frames that I got for them are pretty cheap, could that be the problem? The frames are cheap frames with pexi-glass on them instead of actual glass. They dont have foam in the back either, I believe. Any insight please.

If they aren't flush against the glass (or plastic in your case), gravity takes its toll. I would suggest grabbing another sheet of cardboard or grab some medium thickness poster board and place it behind the poster in the frame so it's pushed up against the front of the frame.

...or get some better frames. What I have done recently is go to Michael's with a 25% off coupon, the semi-nice frames are usually around $15-$30 depending on the size you need. The ones I just got are way higher quality than the first ones I bought (from Walmart...with the plastic) and actually ended up costing me about the same or less. They're not the BEST frames...but they look WAY better (as you can see in my gallery )

...p.s. your question's not off topic at all
