I saw Gladiator II 4K is $19.96 in store. Same price as Amazon, but if you want a guaranteed slipcover, it's a nice one.

Walmart has more steelbooks. Two are rereleases and 1 a new one.

I thought we got a deal from The Dude Abides walmart-approved pro reseller, or something to that affect, on an OOP UHD. It's not something that's likely to stay OOP, but I ordered anyway, as they had only one left at a reasonable $15 shipped, where used prices were over $80 on amazon. I haven't tested the disc yet, but it ended up being a rewrap in a smashed-in case.

Speaking of Captain America Brave New World. It seems they will be carrying the DVD, Blu ray, Blu Ray exclusive and standard 4k. But I didn't see any spots for the steelbook. I also saw tags for Mickey 17 on DVD, Blu ray and 4k. Why is odd. Because any WB titles lately only received only a DVD or DVD plus a bd.

They also had tags out for the Wanted Shout factory 4k steelbook. Also saw a spot for a TV show called Landman. I didn't see any spots for Black Bag. I'm sure it was in the side and likely only to be DVD like Last Breathe recently released..

Walmart seems to be less and less to carry steelbooks in store now. Don't blame them though after seeing them clearance older ones out.

They seem to be getting more of the 4k boutique titles in more than any other kind of steelbook. Usually the scream/shout 4k exclusive steelbooks.

Walmart has done a p*ss poor job of committing to and marketing physical media assuming what I was lead to believe a little while back was true-- that they they were going to fill the gap that Best Buy left vacant. I never even go in to Walmart to see what they have these days because I would usually find a microscopic movie section, it was 90% DVD, or the shelves were 90% bare. So I don't waste my time even looking anymore.

Walmart has lived up to exactly what I thought they would live up to regarding movies. Look at what's in the store vs what is in Best Buy. Walmart was NEVER going to pickup the slack and Target was not going to be much better.

Let's face it, Best Buy was the last hurrah.

It is nice though when Walmart discounts select Criterion 4K to more than 50% off. So since I don't have Walmart +, thank you Amazon for matching the deal and I just pulled the trigger.

With all that, I'm a huge fan of Walmart, love those yellow clearance tags and I'll be going there tomorrow while my mom is at church. You can't beat clearance George brand t-shirts for $1.00 and Ozark Trail Puffer Jacket on clearance for $10. Both owned by Walmart, these are the real deals at Wally and these clearance deals are only in store, look for the yellow sticker.

Someone on a Blu-Ray Facebook group posted pics of his very loaded store, already had all the new releases out.

His store didn't have a Cap Steel either. Had 4k, the exclusive Blu, two spots each for the Blu and DVD, and then all 4 Cap films on DVD and Blu.
Mickey had all three formats.

Black Bag was in the first section of the main walls after that first endcap. His store had DVD and Blu.

Still waiting for my copies of Mickey 17 and Captain America Brave New World 4ks to ship. Said they've been preparing to ship since Thursday and supposed to arrive by the 13th.

But at this point I don't think they will arrive by tomorrow. I'm almost tempted to go to the store and buy those and then return the ones I eventually get in the mail. I used one of those $5 promo codes and Mickey 17 4k was $25.95. Where it's $4 more in store. I'd be saving close to $10.
