No HDMI audio PC to DLP

I've had this issue since december '08. I was going to work around it with Logitech Z-5500 and 5.1 analog but I do not get audio from that when using HDMI either. I beleive my mobo is not sending PCM and the tv does not understand dolby 5.1 or whatver else it is trying to push. Any ideas would be appreciated.

X3 600w PSU
Pioneer BDC-S02 Blu-Ray
OCZ Core SSD 64gb

I'm not sure what else is relevant.

The only Blu-Ray disc I have is Journey to center of earth in 3-d. Well it has the option of playing regular 2d also. Everything is supposed to be HDCP but I still have to use the blank software to get around it. That fixes the video but not the audio. I have tried Cybelink BD 7.3 which works better then Power DVD v8 (pre Corel).
