Arrow Which actor named "Alan" is the best?

Alan Rickman
Allan Alda
Allan Arkin
Rickman for me only because he's absolutely nailed every single role I've ever seen him in.

Alan Rickman because he makes me laugh. I still haven't seen Bottle Shock, though.

Out of those three? Rickman. British over-actors crack me up, and the writers always give him the best lines.

I suppose for me it will have to be Alan Rickman for these 4 reasons,

Hans Gruber in Die Hard
Sherrif Of Nottingham in Robin Hood
Alexander Dane/Dr. Lazarus in Galaxy Quest
Severus Snape in Harry Potter

These four roles alone kick everyone's else butt IMO

Bottle Shock was pretty good. Not amazing, but a good watch. Rickman wins it for me too. I love watching films with him in it.

Do I have to choose one of your 3? There's no "other" Alan?

No those were just suggestions, no other Alan/Allans came to mind when I started the thread though.

For a random sidenote, for the longest time I didn't know who Alan Rickman was and whenever my friend would talk about him being in Harry Potter I was picturing Alan Thicke and it was just baffling me that he would be in Harry Potter. Then when I watched it I was like "whoa, that's not the same guy."

As for the completely random original topic, I would have to go with Alan Arkin. Glengarry Glen Ross. Man we need that movie on Blu.

Pretty much, although I would add Metatron from Kevin Smith's Dogma on that list.
