Default Cerwin Vega RE-30's

Someone near me is selling some RE-30's, the pair, for $150.
I was thinking about buying them, is it a good deal??

I've had my Cerwin Vega RE Series speakers (black finish) for over 10 years now and I love them. I got them at Best Buy when I was an employee (during my college days). I have the 30's for main left and right. Bookshelf RE speakers for the rears and an RE center channel speaker. They still sound good to this day...Great clarity and power. I haven't wanted for any other speakers since. If the previous owner has taken care of them, I say go for it. That's a good deal. Just be sure you have the room for them. They are rather large.

Still not sure, just do a web search for the RE 30's and read the reviews.

Good luck.

Where are you.... I have a pair (mint condition) of RE-30's (pictures of them somewhere on my build thread) I've got them in my basement......

$50 for the pair and they're yours

(I wouldn't even pay that for them if I were you though......)

Cerwin Vegas aren't really known for HT use.... and certainly aren't the most pleasant sounding speaker around.
