yeah im pretty sure FF11 is available on xbox
Yes it can be played on the PS3, so long as you download the hard-drive patch from the store, and that you have a PS2 compatible PS3

I spent three years playing FFXI Online. To play it on a PS3 you need a fully BC PS3 (NA or JP 60GB or 20GB), the PS2 data from the PlayStation Store, and a valid Visa or Mastercard (for paying for the subscription fee).

It can be very difficult to find the expansion discs for the PS2 version however. If at all possible, I would strongly recommend playing FFXI Online on the PC version instead. The discs are much easier to acquire (heck, you can just download the software direct from Square-Enix for the PC version), and updating is much easier/faster as well.

FF11 and 12 is horrible, hate the battle system. I was use to the way it was. I guess its considere turn based? I loved 7,8,10. Havent played a good RPG game since 10. If there is a game out now that has the same battle system as 7,8, or 10. Let me know please. I need a new game

From what I remember the controls/turn system for 11 are pretty much just like 12
