I don't know why people flame me and don't listen. The Dead Space 2 "sequel" they announced in October 2008 was confirmed in January 2009 as a Wii exclusive prequel. There is no Dead Space sequel in the works for PS3.

Nope there is a Dead Space 2. Just hasnt been shown. Still early in the development phase.

People keep ignoring you because EA has talked about "Dead Space 2" *after* the announcement of Dead Space: Extraction. Since Dead Space for the Wii doesn't have a "2" in it, it seems unlikely they are talking about the same title.

EA didn't refer to Dead Space:Extraction as Dead Space 2 in any way, shape, or form the last couple days at E3.

They've even called Dead Space 2 explicitely a sequel, with plans to make another movie to bridge the gap between 1 and 2.

As of a couple weeks ago, he had listed "Dead Space 2" on his list of products. Which has sense been removed, probably because EA didn't want to announce the development of something like that before it was ready to announce.

In short, I'd bet large sums of money that you are wrong, even without me having any proof beyond what I've already seen.

PS - The fact that you found a random journalist that refers to Dead Space:Extraction as Dead Space 2 does not support your fact.

Ok guys, dont kill this topic with who said what said about who when what Dead Space 2 for PS3 or not.

You know there will be another Dead Space for the PS3 at some point in the future, the next one is for the Wii, case closed on that...

As for Resident Evil coming on PSP, I really couldnt care less, Ill never buy a little handheld device, that's definately not for me, I'm not 10 years old.

Castlevania....never liked that franchise for some reason, and I doubt there would be any horror to it, who knows...hopefully there is.

Saw is for gore freaks, but it may be good, will have to wait for ratings.

The only 2 damn games I liked and wanted to play are Left 4 Dead 2 and Mass Effect 2 and both are for the geeky XBOX and for PC, I still play L4D on the pc, but the first Mass Effect is still standing on my desk, Im not installing securom BS on my pc.

Now how much does that suck, no SCi-Fi or Horror games on PS3, oh well, I guess Ill play Resident Evil 1 download for 9.99 on the PSN store, woopiefrakkindo.

If anyone hears anything about any new Survival Horror games, please let me know

Same here, don't care about handhelds. Although PsP is getting massive sweet games which could temp someone to buy one.

Out on PS2 though, I'll buy it for my 60GB ps3.

I'd still prefer a new Fatal Frame or a Sci-Fi/Horror game, heck any survival horror would have been cool, not sure why they dont make that many, I cant believe all the garbage they are coming out with.
