Its nothing special but it does the trick for now whilst I'm broke.

Anybody have any suggestions for some low budget speakers and sub?

I haven't heard them myself, but the Energy Take 5.0 system gets a lot of praise.

Or you can get them with a sub here.

The Take Classic system is nice, but at high volumes there is a lot of clipping.

I have yet to really push my volume. It maxes at 75 and the loudest I usually go is about 35 .
