added luxman amps to denon 2809 - Blu-ray Forum

yesterday i added two old early '80s luxman amplifiers to my denon 2809 to handle the main left/center/right duty. they are both 2-channel amps - i am using just one channel of the second amp for the center.

immediately i noticed a much wider stage presentation with music, more focus on the centered image, better separation of instruments, warmer midrange, and an overall bigger sound.

just thought i would share my experience. very happy!

nevermind the lack of cable management - that will be addressed next.

little bit, yes.

they are actually not as shiny as they look in the picture - they are a brushed aluminum front. the fingerprints and other marks shown in the picture aren't visible with normal lighting. flash really distorted things...
