Yamaha RXV565.... Best Buy question quick! - Blu-ray Forum

Im heading to best buy right now to look the the RXV565, well not really look but I have a plan. HHGregg has this reciever just at there price for 343 and best buy has there's for 429. Under there price match guar regluations I should be able to buy the 565 at BB for the full 429 bucks come back 2 hours later and tell them I saw the same reciever for 343 bucks at hhgregg, and they should honor there price plus discount it a further 10% off correct? If it is, then you can walk out of a BB with a 565 7.1 for around 320 some bucks!

Nevermind, went to HHGregg and they are having a 20% off sale on electronics so best buy will only match it 100% since its a sale item. If it wasnt on sale, they would match it plus add 10%.... shucks! Anyways, is that reciever decent? Cant really find to many reviews

Sorry I know this is a late reply Newmason,but this is one of my first visits to the Receiver Section.
I just bought a New Yammy receiver about 7 weeks ago,so I havent had a need to go here.But I will begin spending a little more time here.

I cant comment exactally on the Yamaha RX-V565,but I do have the 665,and I Love It.I know there is talk that the 665 is not up to snuff compared to the Yamaha RX-V663,but either way it is a Great Performer as far as I am concerned.

If the 565 is basically the 665 minus 1 or 2 features then I would be more the happy to be the owner of this receiver,and would recommend it highly.
