Default Does it matter if the center of the disc has a little scratch on it ?

Does it matter if the center of the disc has a little scratch on it ? You know, where there is the cercle where the center is.

Why would it? I only have 1 blu-ray so far that's marked up(used copy of Superman) and it runs just fine.

Oh right, I mis-read the first time, hopefully it doesn't mean the integrity of the disc has been compromised, especially since blu-rays really are even more fragile than DVDs under that super seal.

I wouldn't worry about it. Unless it's a crack.. but even then if it still plays it's nothing. There is like half an inch of disc that doesnt contain data starting from the hole in the middle.

Given the speeds that a blu spins at, there is a real possibility that it could fly apart and tear up your player

And if your sarcastication meter is broken, I'm kidding, and you are no doubt fine.

The clear plastic in the middle? Should be a problem considering there's no data on that portion of the disc.

It is the middle part close to center where you may put a finger
