Verizon Storm question - Blu-ray Forum

Yes no? How is it compared to the Iphone? I don't want to leave Verizon. No one tops there service and I get a 20% discount. Right now I have the Razor and I want to upgrade.

I don't have one but since I am just now eligible to trade up (with Verizon), I am going to wait till the Storm 2 comes out, hopefully by end of year.

yeah hold off if ur contract is up or almost up... the first storm based on the reviews I read was one of blackberry's better phones but it is no Ipod in terms of interface, and usability. That being said blackberry's aren't really ment for casual people. But I think it was a good first attempt maybe the storm 2 will be much better able to battle with the Iphone.

It's personal preference really. I do not like the storm. The interface feels dated and I also did not like the "click" screen either. Felt cheap. Again, personal preference. None of Verizon's phones are worth a damn honestly. I have them, service is good, but that is about it. Customer service, support and hardware - crap.

I also have had the iPhone 3G (sold it). Loved it. Interface, sleekness and usefulness surpass anything I have used thus far. That's why I pre ordered the 3GS. Can't wait to have my iphone back. I feel lost without it.

The standard today is the iphone. Nothing else compares as of yet.

I'd figure they'd do something like Iphone did with theirs 99 for the older one and maybe 199-299 for the new one.

Sorry for the confusion. I don't. I have a dumb phone on Verizon - doesn't cost me anything so I keep it. iPhone is with AT&T.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up

I just got back from verizon. I wanted to ask about the Storm 2. They don't know when it's coming out, but it's going to be Wi-Fi and have a touch screen like the Iphone. I'm going to wait for it.
