Austin Powers 2 & 3 Extras - Blu-ray Forum

I've searched for reviews and for any comments in the forum, but can't find any sites that list the extras for parts 2 and 3 of the Austin Powers trilogy. They are up for 7.99 at Play and Amazon and I'm seriously tempted to upgrade my existing DVDs.

Does anyone know what, if any, extras are on these discs?

My guess is it's pretty much the same as the US releases. I'll know for sure in a couple of days... since I ordered the £7.99 disc's from Play.

Optimum Home Entertainment Own the rights on this one so specs will more and likely be the following unless Optimum Home Entertainment did a deal with warner to port the disk:

AVC Video encode
DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound
Disk Possibly a BD50
Extras Not to sure.

Its my best guess with they have done in the past.

The only issue I have with Optimum Home Entertainment is the master used (Escape From New York comes to mind).

Will they use a DVD master or do they have a Proper HD master to use.

I see the first film has been put back til the end of September which is disappointing,

i'm waiting for the first film to be released before i buy the rest as i want to be sure it's the uncut version.

I enquired with optimum and I have been told that they are releasing this in 2010, so it will be put back again.

They have not had the master and so could not confirm running time, but what they did confirm is that it has NO extras - as its a value title. Great.... Think this means a no sale for me.

Are no other countries releasing the first one? Are the extra scenes missing from the USA disc actually in the special features section?

Ah, so that's why the date has been removed from Play? You can't pre-order it anymore either (good thing I already have it pre-ordered).

As for the extra scenes I'm not sure if they are included as deleted scenes on the US version. But I'm going to wait for the UK release either way. I want the scenes IN the feature.
