Default Samsung BD-1500P question

Hey guys,
recently got the player mentioned above, and i read the manual and did some googling of my own but couldn't get a conclusive response. So my question is this,

In the manual, it says that the player can play from Region A B and C for Blu Ray. But it gives specific countries for each Region, namely Singapore, Australia, India etc. So my question then is if the player can only play BD from the specific countries or any disc from any of these regions?

Seeing as there are only 3 regions for Blu Ray, does that make the player region free?

Im in singapore, so i'm guessing the configuration for the player here is definitely different from the bd1500 thats sold there. i read on the samsung website that the BD1500's sold in north america can only play discs from region A, and it states specifically north america and its territories (or something to that effect).

if the manual says that the player can play region A, B and C then it suppose to be region free. The specific countries could be used as examples maybe. Although I havenīt proved it, there's no way it can play for certain countries in the region, I don't think that's even possible.
