Will a Region B Blu-ray play on my NTSC TV? - Blu-ray Forum

Just wondering about this, as I am planning on making my Denon 2500BTCI Region A player a Region B player. But I'm curious if a Region B Blu-ray will be viewable on my NTSC TV.

Next month I am getting a Denon DVD-A1UDCI Universal Blu-ray player and it will be my primary Blu-ray player. But I also want the ability to see Region B Blu-ray's as well, which is why I want to make my current 2500 player a Region B player once I get the A1.

The Blu-ray, yes. The PAL extras, perhaps not.

Very cool.

As it's the actual movies that I want to see and hear, not being able to see any of the supplements that are PAL is fine.

Quick edit, some blu's are encoded at 1080i/50. These may not play on your display. Check out this site for information on those titles.

So as long as the Blu-ray is 1080p/24 I should be fine right?
