Default Reset Blu Ray Player to 1080i or 720p

Ok heres my problem: I configured my blu ray player to play 1080p 24fps (of course) to my projector. Recently my projector bulb died, so i'm trying to switch to my HDTV which only displays 720p and 1080i, but since its configured to play 1080p my hdtv won't display my player. It seems like there should be a simple way to fix this, i just can't figure it out.

There should a way to reset the player to factory default. My PS3 does this by holding the power button while it is being turn it on.
