Post Bride Wars: Rent or Buy?

I'm thinking about ordering Bride Wars on Amazon. I've read the review from this site as well as the one from DVDTalk.com, and - as expected - they're in between mixed to negative. However, I love Anne Hathaway...period. But is my love for her enough to justify a purchase or a rental for this movie? I'll let you guys decide.

I'd say if you are really on the fence, rent it first since not everyone shares the same opinions on movies. IF you really do like it then you can buy it afterwards.

If you don't want to pay too much for the rental, try out online sites like Netflix or Blockbuster Online. Heck if you can't wait for the mail, Redbox offers discounted rental every now and then.

I, myself, did enjoy it and will eventually get it on BD but I rented it first from Netflix.

I'd say rent it. My girlfriend and I both didn't enjoy it very much.

I have not seen it, but I have not heard anything good about it either. I'd rent it first to see it you will like it.

Definitely a rent at best. I laughed out loud once, what a waste of 2 funny actresses talents.

I think a new release at BlockBuster is like $5, but smart people use the monthly plans... I pay $17/month through NetFlix and rent about 3 movies a week, which ends up being $1.41/each...

Wow, lots of negativity. My girlfriend and I loved the movie. Thought it was hilarious! Although, she does love Kate Hudson.

After seeing the trailer i would say you should completely forget that this movie ever existed. Two girls fighting over when and where their wedding will take place does not sound enjoyable................IMO.
Anne Hathaway is sessy, but just wait for Alice in Wonderland to get your fix.

Favorite Blu-ray movies: The Dark Knight, Casino Royale, Wall-E, Blade Runner, World Trade Center, Iron Man.......where does Bride wars fit in here?.....j/k I saw most of this movie when the girls were watching it the other evening. It's cute lets put it that way. You will want to rent this one first. It was the typical cat fight before the old wedding scenerio.....
