Buy.Rent.Pass (Inspired by DvDuesday G4) - Blu-ray Forum

I'm a big fan of Chris Gore's segment on the show "Attack of the Show" on G4.
His show is called "DvDuesday" for those of you who have never heard of it, it's a 3 to 5 minute wrap up of new realeases where he gives his opinion to either Buy.Rent.or Pass.
We have scattered threads about liking, what we watched, and hated it picks but I thought this might condense all those a little better.

Choose either one of your movies you own, rented, or watched with someone recently and tell us all why we should Buy! Rent! or Pass!!! (feel free to flesh out your replies as much as YOU see fit

)

I'll start it off: Last movie I watched was "The Changeling" This for me is a Buy! This movie was better than expected, with a very solid performance by the lead Angelina Jolie.

Thanks! I saw this for cheap (Blockbuster 2 for 25) and though about getting it.

But what makes Chris's reviews so good is that he also goes in-depth with the special features and commentary. And for a release, sometimes those extra featurettes and commentary can make a not-so-great film much entertaining if you experience everything as a whole.

There are far too many people on the blu-ray.com that focus on the film but not the overall Blu-ray release. So, if you're going to get short and sweet, that tells me nothing.

If anyone's going to put themselves in similar shoes as Chris, then by all means, explain yourself of why you dislike or like a product and at least giving credit to the man, you actually have watched the whole disc before issuing a pass, rent or buy....because simply, if people are just going to do just that, then these opinions can easily be viewed on the search function on the thread for each movie or under the user reviews on this site.

He also does B movie releases that no one has ever heard of as well. We all know of The Spirit and how horrible it was. I feel sorry if you blind bought it. Tell us if we should see those movies we've never heard of before!

Totally, I turned it off after The Spirit and Sam. L Jackson were fighting. And that was only like 10 mins. in.
