OK so i am completely confused on how to sell because i rarely do stuff like this but i was wondering how does the transaction go when you sell or trade...? I do have a Paypal account. I have seen the trading forums and people say stuff like "ygm" but what do they message you? I sold on amazon once before but that was easy because amazon does all the transaction with the payments with the cards. How does it work on this site? Do you give each other adresses first? how do they actually send you the money through paypal? Haha im such a noob at this but any help would be great, thanks!
Each member may have only one trade/sale thread open at any given time. If you add new titles, edit your main post and then generate a "bump" post to get your thread back to the top.
List your titles for trade, as well as a list of wanted titles; Blu-ray, HD DVD, or DVD. Don't make others guess at what you would want to trade for.
If you would like to sell your titles or Blu-ray equipment, list a price - this is not an auction site.
No linking to outside sites displaying your sale items.
If you would like to offer a trade to a user, send them a Private Message and post "YGM" (you got mail) so they know to check for a new message.
If you currently don't have a trading score here(Link), you must provide another source to prove your credibility. Usually, this will be your Ebay user rating.
All trades/sales must be mailed using "Delivery Confirmation". This is to protect the person sending the trade, as well as the person receiving it.
Once a trade/sale has been successfully completed, please post feedback for that member if you wish via the itrader under that users avatar
If you fail to make a trade or sale, Negative feedback may be left and other actions against your account may be taken
Blu-ray.com is not responsible for any trades or sales, and will not mediate in any disputes. All trades are made with goodwill in mind, but come with no guaranty.
You are not allowed to trade or sell screener/review samples.
You are not allowed to sell titles before the official release date.
Upon request by the Blu-ray.com staff, all members who receive studio screener product must provide proof of purchase within one year of the street date or any item they wish to sell or trade. Packing slips and store reciepts are among the acceptable proofs.
Do not post negative remarks on other members trade threads. If the price is too high or the requests are absurd, don't reply as no activity will alert that member no one is interested.(link)
The trading forum is intended for personal trading and not for professional trading = setting up a shop. This applies to the recent stint of sellers selling volume of 3-4 times retail prices of movies.

System
As you can see, we have now implemented a system where by you can rate traders/sellers similar to that of eBay. Each forum member has a "Trading Score" that can easily been below their member name when they post. Clicking on that score will bring you to their Trading profile where you can view how other members rated them and submit a rating for a transaction you made with them.
After you have made a transaction, simply go to their Trading profile and click "Submit Feedback for [member name]." Here you can select whether you were the buyer, seller, or trader in the deal, grade the overall experience, give a short description of the transaction, and provide comments. If you would like, you can also provide a link to the thread of the transaction.
Unfortunately, we can not integrate the old Good Traders List into the new system, but you can go back through the old thread and add comments based on what you had posted.
Pretty simple, just create a thread, list items for sale with prices and post some sort of trading credibility, i.e. Other forums or ebay feedback helps. Its your item so you set the rules and others will answer. Most of all, Have fun
