Default I think my Sony 350 died

It's been a while since I played (let alone turned on) my Sony BDP-S350 BD player. I have it hooked up to an LG Scarlet (37").
I turned on the 350 just a few minutes ago, and all I get is a black screen -- no menu screen -- NOTHING! JUST BLACK!!!!
The 350 is hooked up to the TV's HDMI 1, and the TV says "Invalid Signal"/"No Signal". I put in a DVD and it seems to play because the counter is "moving ahead", but I get no picture nor sound.
What's wrong????!!!

Jodi
