Default How fast is the loading time on the Panasonic Blu Ray Player?

Can someone please tell me how fast is the loading time, specially for the Java discs like the new Pirates? How about the PQ?

I had the Sony S300, but I returned it because it took forever to load the Java dics and It didn't have the resume playback option after you have powered the unit off.

Are you ruling the PS3 out as an option? It's a great BD player and has gotten rave reviews by nearly everyone on here!
I can't speak for the panny...no idea.

I also returned the BDP-S300 because it was so slow and no resume feature.

I got the PS3 and have been really happy with it.

Thumbs up

I too had the Sony BDP-S300 and was very disgusted with the extremely slow loading time with Java discs like the new Pirate. While I still had the S300 I purchased the new Panasonic DMP-BD10AK and compared the two side by side. The load times on the Panasonic are at least twice as fast using the same Pirate of the Caribbean DVD and it is slightly quieter with regard to fan noisy, almost silent. With the Panasonic it is a little noisier when loading the DVD, the need to lower the front door to get to the tray or any controls is a bad design decision and the remote is pathetic, with the Sony remote being much better. It may be my imagination but I think the picture rendered with Blu-ray is a little sharper with the Panasonic. My decision was to return the Sony and keep the Panasonic.
