Samsung BD-2500 won't play Blu-Ray DVD's... - Blu-ray Forum

I rented PUSH on Blu-Ray through Netflix the other day and tried to sit down to watch the movie last night, "Disk Can not be played". I know I hadn't upgraded my firmware since I purchased the player back in January so I figured I would give it a try.

Well now that I have 2.5, I can't play any Blu-Ray DVD. Normal DVD's load fine, but not one of my 6 blu ray dvds will play anymore. Any ideas?

Well of course it can't play blu-ray DVDs, they don't exist. What you WANT to do is contact your player's customer service and tell them your firmware update killed your playback capability. They should help you with this issue.
