Im just confused in the product description for the onkyo 606/607 model...
# HDMI V1.3a repeater (4 in/1 out, 1080p compatible) # HDMI 1080i upscaling powered by Faroujda DCDi Edge if my source ie blu-ray is in 1080p will it display in 1080p? |

Yes, it will display in 1080p. Those two features are for two completely different things. The first part is saying that it has 4 HDMI inputs and 1 output and it will pass a 1080p source to your TV. The second part is mainly for older components. Let's say, for example, you have an old VCR or DVD player and you're using composite or component cables. If you have a HDMI cable hooked up to your TV as your monitor out, the HDMI ouput will upconvert the VCR or DVD signal up to 1080i instead of displaying the source at 480i/480p.
