PS3 wont except discs.. - Blu-ray Forum

i just replaced the laser (kes-400a) and I'm putting it back together and now the PS3 wont take in any discs.

I have a theory but do not know if it is the cause, when taking apart the PS3 to put in the new laser, a disc was in the Blu-ray Drive and midway through taking it apart i had to take it out, the disc is fine not sure if it offset anything.

besides that it went back together fine so i do not know what is wrong, if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Without having any expeiernce on this, Id say you may have put off the sencor a tad by taking it out forcefully. Not to say it can't be fixed easily. Probably a very simpl reset will do.
