Default polk TSI VS JBL ES

Dear All,

i am planning to buy a new 7.1 Home theater for my 15 X 27 room, i am still considering my options, how does the TSI series compare to the ES series? also how is the ES250P subwoofer performance ? is it a good subwoofer? i live in qatar in the middle east , so my choises are limited.

the amp will probably be a yamaho 663 or onkyo 606.

thanks in advance,

sincerely,

Hi,My Friend.I can not honestly comment on the JBL Speakers since I have not heard nor seen these personally.
However I do own the Polk Audio TSi-400 FloorStanding Speakers((3) 5 1/4 inch woofers and a 1 inch dome tweeter)

I Love Them, both in their Amazing Performance as well as their Spectacular Appearance(with the low profile speaker front and the Black Laquer Top Caps.

I also own a Yamaha RX-V665 AV Receiver. This is the newest model in the Yamaha line-up(the 3 series was replaced by the 5 series). Its a Great Receiver in my Opinion and has a tremendous amount of options.
It has Pre-Outs for ALL Channels to hook up an external amp,as well as many features and good, clean power to drive the Polk Audio TSi Speakers.

So while I cant comment on the JBL's I can say that I do know a Great deal on the Polk TSi's and the Yamaha RX-V665 AV Receiver, and I Absolutely Love both components,as well as Being in Love with the way they perform together(Truly Magical).

So,in my opinion, you could do a lot worse then picking the Polk Speakers and the Yamaha Receiver.

And I also think you would and will Love the Polks and the Yamaha. They will more then serve you exceptionally well(I know they have for me).
