polk tsi 500 - Blu-ray Forum

tsi 500 does anybody have these speakers or heard them are they any good?

They are good. For 400 dollars a speaker retail, you can easily find a lot better.

like the Monitor 70s I have...they are pretty decent, you're going to need a nice AVR or Amp to drive them as they are power hungry to bring the best out of them. Bi-amping them brought them to life for me.

But I also got them for $450 total as a pair. You certainly can find them cheaper, or even a better speaker for the retail msrp.

I have the TSI400 and love them... When I purchased them it was between the 400's & 500's. The 500's sound just as good, just not an extra $200.00 good

Im just looking around at difrent options besides paradigm so i took the highest polk audio i can affors thought i would give them a try.I love audio and movies but cant find the sense in these hard times to spend 1350.00 on a pair of paradigm monitor 11s.

Those are pretty good speakers. I tried them out at Fry's when I was gonna get some RTi8's but they were sold out.
