Default Friend of mine might be selling his b/c compatable 80g ps3..

and buying a new 80g metal gear 4 / killzone 2 bundle, the thing is his b/c 80g
has a broken blu-ray drive that he does'nt want to pay the $150 to fix and would rather buy a new one. Everything else (menu, downloaded games , wireless, etc) works fine except the disc drive won't read games or movies. So my questions are what would a fair asking price be for the 80g b/c ps3 be assuming it would take $150 to send it to sony and be fixed , and would anybody here be intrested in buying it ? Thanks for your time

i would say a fair price wouldnt be very much at all since a new 80 non b/c is 400. minus the 150 is 250 then the unit is used plus you have to ask yourself how much is b/c is worth to you? personally b/c is important to me but if i couldnt get one new with a warranty, i would get a ps2 along with a new ps3.

minus the 150 from the total cost of a new PS3.....

399-150= 249....then at at least minus 150 for being used....my guess he would get 100-140 for it being broken....someone would grab it, they are not super hard to fix urself....

Ya I figured he could get $100 -$150 max, b/c is not that important to me, even though I have 2 that are b/c. The only games I want them to play are ps1 games , and all models are able to play those. Thanks
