Mulholland Drive Blu-Ray???? - Blu-ray Forum

I was just wondering what everyone thought about whether or not Mulholland Drive would ever recieve a Blu treatment. I know that lynch is a cinema "Purist" so I wasn't sure if he would ever approve of any of his films on Blu. I could see him being a stickler and wanting the more unpolished look of DVD.

I'd love to see Mulholland Drive or Lost highway on BluRay but from what I know about the way David Lynch views things- I'd say it's sadly unlikely.

I wouldn't say it's unlikely at all. David Lynch has interesting "views", but when it comes to his films, he's much like Lucas and Spielberg in that he's very hands-on. While he's against DVD chapters (he likes his films viewed as a whole), he's been one to embrace technology, and is a big fan of DV.

Mulholland Dr will eventually come out on BD. He'll just have to approve the transfer. When Universal gets around to the title (Uni is very slow), I'm sure he'll support it once it's done.
