Default joystiq makes a false statement.

did microsoft pay them to say this? this is so bs, i know so many people who use ps3 to watch movies, i watch movies all the time on my ps3. and i care a lot about quality of it.

http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/29/so...tching-movies/

but if they did get paid by microsoft to say this, they just helped blu-ray disc. their saying taht the ps3 did not boost sales of blu-ray disc movies and that the real blu-ray disc player and buyers actually bought the blu-ray themselves and blu-ray owned hd-dvd by itself and no gamers helped. so yeah, i guess this article helped in a way, but lied in a way.
