I got this movie for $12.00 at walmart last week the sound codec PCM 5.1
uncompressed my receiver shows all channel stereo am i getting the best sound? thanks

Go into the menu audio and pic the PCM track, I think that one defaults to DD track.

yeah the pcm track is rock solid

it'll give your speakers a work out!

You don't want all channel stereo. Regardless of which 5.1 audio you select, you should be seeing either DD 5.1 or PCM 5.1 on your Onkyo's display.

Is it happening just with Stealth or do all your BDs playback with all channel stereo?

In your BD player's setup menu, are you certain that you aren't downmixing 5.1 to 2 channels? I think you need to double check your settings on your player and receiver. Something sure isn't right.

When you playback DD or DTS 5.1 lossy or lossless, doesn't matter, then I it sounds to me that your Onkyo is doing the decoding and everything is fine.

What would happen say if your player decodes DD or DTS 5.1 and sends PCM to your receiver?
