i ordered the 1st hour it changed from pre order to back order and still has not shipped anyone else upset by dd customer service and has anyone found out why its taking so long to get restock when everyone else amazon ect has in stock?

its just i have a group of friends Ive been talking the series up to and we were trying to watch the series before the new plan movie but its not gonna happen just frustrated because i have never had this problem with b & m stores or amazon only deep discount its the second time stuff i paid 2 day shipping for took forever to ship

well when you spend almost 200 bucks on something there should be better customer service instead of "ehh its back ordered " i have worked for retail chains and local video stores and we always knew what days our restock came in on and how many pieces were pre order or reserved sooo they should have an est on time frame no excuse for bad cs

Glad I'm not the only one still waiting. Even though I cancelled my original order and reordered at the even cheaper price, it was quite early in the process, perhaps only a few hours into the sale. So I am suprised that about week later and there's still no indication that it's moved off of "Back Order" status.

For the sale, I ordered 12 Monkeys, Coraline, The day the Earth stood still (3D), and BSG complete series. All have arrived but BSG. The entry about hoping people get pissed and cancel may be true, who knows. I can't imagine how much money they (lost?) by selling it for 165 shipped, and for those who bought it even cheaper, they lost even more money. I wonder if they knew there was going to be a run on this product being that it is about 40 dollars or more cheaper than any other place.
I'm having patience. We'll see how long it actually takes. Kccarl |

My guess is DD just underestimated how many customers would jump on this set with the 25% discount. They already backordered a whole bunch and shipped those out, but that still wasn't nearly enough for all orders ... so technically, we are waiting for their second back order. No problem, I got it cheap so I can wait. |

Well, I have to gloat: Mine came in on Wed (5th) & got for the adjusted $151. I was suprised it got here so fast since I live in CA and it was estimated to arrive on the 7th, at the earliest.
Be warned, there was no useful packing material in the box it shipped in. It could've just as easily gotten damaged during shipping, but somehow made it through Media Mail unscathed. |

You should call them then, and see if there's any way they can tell you where you are in the queue. You could also try complaining and asking them to move you up if you are behind people who selected free shipping or ordered after you.
