OK....ive just found out that the new Starman Blu is ....BARE BONES!!!!

Not even a trailer?!?!?! Or Commentary? Or Special Edition considering this IS the 25th Anniversary of its release...
Come on, SOny...wtf????


THis classic deserves some respect!!! Whos with me on this??

yes the dvd was bare bones too..although it did have the trailer..i do know that there is an older commentary on european versions of the dvd...with john carpenter and jeff bridges...

I used to be really into movies with a bunch of extras, now I find I don't even bother watching them. They should at least throw you a trailer though.

no offense CJ, but i believe that the point to dvds AND blurays are to enhance movies...visually, audibly, and to also go BEYOND the film itself, with use of extra footage, commentaries, etc. ANYONE can watch a movie on a vhs tape, laserdisc, dvd and a bluray disc. But i also believe that true film buffs as myself want MORE than just the film.
