Question BDP-S350 Audio Settings

Hey guys, long time reader but fairly recently registered.

Quick question for all you gurus out there.

I recently picked up a Sony BDP-S350 from PC World on clearance (£99 couldn't pass it up) and it's linked up to a Sony KDL32V5500 in our bedroom. Now my wife doesn't want a surround system in the bedroom (she's not even remotely approaching an audiophile of any kind) and I've found when watch blus in the bedroom sometimes the dialogue is very feint, drowing under the other sound.

My question basically is are there any particularly settings I should have for a BD player that is only playing through the TVs speakers and is there any setting on the player or TV that I shouldn't have on, ie should autovolume be on/off, dynamic setting turned on/off and am I sending sound to the TV as if it has a centre speaker and is this where I am losing speech volume.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this.

Under the player's audio settings, go to the DRC and set it to TV mode. That should take care of the low speech volume.....
