Default How is this combo? Need advise!

Hey guys. So after several convos with members here and hours of reading, this is the combination I have come up with in terms of price falling in my range.
1) Speakers: Energy Take 5.1 Classic Speakers with upgrade to BIC Acoustech VK-12 subwoofer
2) YAMAHA 5.1-Channel Digital Home Theater Receiver RX-V465

I have PS3, Directv. This system will mostly be used for movies and sporting events. Movie/Music ratio of 90/10. This combo total is going to run approx $675 with newegg, and acoustic sound design website deals.
What do you guys think?

Also, the big question I have about the speakers is for the 2 rear speakers, do you have to have wires that run to the receiver for these 2? I am a newbie when it comes to figuring out cables and speakers. Also, do all speakers in these home theater set ups have the ability to be posted on the wall or on a stand? Thanks a lot in advance fellas! Without you guys, I would be lost!!!

Also guys, for the receiver, are there codes or cashback promos for NewEgg that I should know about. Wait a few weeks for a sale? I need to check Bing for newegg actually

that receiver should power the speakers just fine. Yes you will need to run cable to the rear speakers.

one thing i did read about the receiver is that it lacks analog multichannel input. so is that for things like another gaming system, like the wii? or standard television?

those are audio inputs for units that don't have HDMI, optical or coax audio, some(not as many now-a-days) will have analog outputs (RCA jacks). I don't have a wii, but i would think it would run with HDMI or Optical anyways.
